2025 - 2026 Iowa Artist Fellows:
Eloy Barragán, an internationally acclaimed ballet instructor, choreographer, and filmmaker.
Nicholas Cladis, an artist who explores themes of community (people), history (time), and ecology (place) through handmade papermaking, experimental installation, and collaborative exchange.
Kelly Devitt, a ceramic artist who primarily creates sculptures depicting emotions physically expressed through the human body.
Susan Metrican, an artist who transforms her paintings. Her work often borrows techniques from clothing and furniture making—sewing, folding, gathering—to reshape the canvas and the stories it tells.
Jason Snell, an electronic music producer, daily meditator, and computer programmer. He combines these disciplines to create sound performances using brainwave and heartbeat sensors, exploring themes of vulnerability, entrainment, and synchrony.
