Grand Reopening of the Martha-Ellen Tye Playhouse

Join us on Friday, October 30, 2026, as the Marshalltown Arts & Civic Center (MACC) Foundation officially reopens the doors to the Martha-Ellen Tye Playhouse!

In partnership with the Martha-Ellen Tye Foundation for their 50th Anniversary, we’ve planned a very special evening bringing the Playhouse full circle with a feature performance of I Can't Hear You When the Water's Running by the Marshalltown Community Theatre (the exact show that was performed on opening night in 1969).
