The Marshalltown Arts & Civic Center (MACC) is thrilled to welcome back the Marshalltown Community School District Art Show. This annual exhibition celebrates the creativity, imagination, and talent of student artists from across the district and highlights the incredible arts education happening in our community.
Featuring a wide range of student artwork, the show offers visitors the chance to see the world through young artists’ eyes - full of color and expression. From abstract creations to carefully crafted pieces, this art show reflects both individual voices and the collective creativity of Marshalltown’s youth.
Saturday, May 7 | 1:00–3:00 PM
Join us at the MACC for a celebratory opening reception honoring the student artists. Families, friends, educators, and community members are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be provided, and all are encouraged to stop by, explore the artwork, and celebrate these young creatives.
The artwork will be displayed in the Monet Reception Hall at the MACC and will remain on view throughout the month of March. Additional public viewing hours will be announced soon.
We are especially excited to host this event again at the MACC and to continue the tradition of showcasing student artwork. The Marshalltown Community School District Art Show is a meaningful opportunity to support arts education, uplift young artists, and come together as a community.
Admission is free and open to the public. We hope you’ll join us in celebrating creativity, learning, and the next generation of artists.
