J.W. Fisher and his wife Dorothy had a vision for the community of Marshalltown, and in 1958 that vision became the Fisher Community Center. Today the Marshalltown Arts & Civic Center and the Fisher Art Collection are once again on display and the Martha-Ellen Tye Playhouse is next to be renovated.
